Giving Back During the Holidays: Moustarah & Company Volunteer at Hope Mission

In the spirit of giving back and of the holiday season, members of the Moustarah & Company team, including articling students, lawyers, and staff, recently volunteered at Hope Mission. Our team assisted in preparing and serving a meal for those less fortunate.

At Moustarah & Company we believe in the value of community. It is one of the core and guiding values of our firm and our practice of law. During the holiday season, we are particularly aware of the less fortunate members of our community and the ways in which we can give our time and efforts to help them.

If you are interested in giving back to your community, there are a number of local organizations that could use help during the holiday season and year-round. The Hope Mission is just one of those organizations. To learn more about Hope Mission and how you can help, click here.

Moustarah and Company Personal Injury Lawyers Sponsor the Festival of Trees

Moustarah and Company personal injury lawyers are proud Gold Sponsors of the 2018 Festival of Trees.

On November 28, 2018, Moustarah & Company team members attended the Festival of Trees opening Gala, where funds were raised to support the University Hospital Foundation.

Over the last 34 years, the Festival of Trees has raised $20 million for critically important causes at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. This year, funds were raised to help the Brain Centre purchase state of the start CT imaging technology.

As the silent auction bidding software sponsors, Moustarah & Company directly contributed to the Festival of Trees’ efforts to raise vital funds for this important cause.

Giving Back: Moustarah & Company Team Members Volunteer at Hope Mission

Recently, members of the Moustarah & Company team traded in their suits, ties, and heels for hair nets, aprons, and gloves, for a volunteer shift at Hope Mission in Edmonton. Members of the team helped to prepare and serve a meal to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. It was an eye-opening and enriching experience, and another example of the many ways in which Moustarah & Company aims to give back to the community.
