Anisa Jama is a Student-at-Law at Moustarah & Company, joining the firm in January 2026.
She earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2024. During her studies, Anisa was actively engaged in volunteer work with various community organizations and was a member of the Canadian Law Students’ Association. At the same time, she worked at the Public Prosecutions Office, where she gained valuable courtroom exposure and developed advocacy skills.
Anisa has a passion for litigation and advocacy. She values community engagement and continues to participate in volunteer initiatives, demonstrating her dedication to serving others with empathy and professionalism.
Outside of her legal work, Anisa enjoys travelling, listening to crime podcasts, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Anisa is conversational in Somali.
