Tag: Alberta Insurance vs British Columbia

Alberta will be introducing No Fault Insurance. Moustarah & Company are disheartened to know how this change will affect your right to sue others for wrong doing, and your ability to access compensation will be significantly reduced. Currently if you are in an accident you have the right to claim againts the at fault driver for a fair compensation, and you are also allowed to make a claim for bodily injury. In the new No Fault Insurance system you cannot make a bodily injury claim against the other insurance driver. Your insurance company gets to determine your medical expenses and medical treatment.

The No Fault Insurance in BC has been labeled as a system that will give the people of that province a quick access to care, and better access to benefits.
