Kate is a student at law at Moustarah & Company. She loves working with the personal injury lawyers and the clients to assist throughout the injury claim process.
Kate was raised in Lethbridge, Alberta and received her Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, with Great Distinction, from the University of Lethbridge. She then moved to Edmonton to pursue a Master of Arts in philosophy and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of Alberta. Kate joined the firm as a student-at-law in June 2025.
During her time at the University of Alberta, Kate was involved in the campus community. Kate has volunteered with the High School Ethics Bowl since 2022. During her first year of law school, she volunteered with the criminal project of Student Legal Services. In her second year, she volunteered as the technical director and marketing director for Law Show. In her third year, she became the co-executive producer of Law Show and helped lead a team of students, alumni, and faculty to raise $17,500 for Boyle Street Community Services. She was also a board member of the University Appeal Board during all three years of law school.
Outside of law, Kate enjoys spending time with friends, family, her horse, and her cat.
